How far in advance should we book you for our wedding?
Since we only shoot a maximum of 25 weddings per year, our calendar fills up rather quickly. Its best to book us about 18 months in advance, but if you have a shorter timeframe, don’t hesitate to reach out as we still may have availability for your date!
What is your style?
We tend to classify our “style” as classic, romantic and organic. We love beautiful light and capturing the real emotions and feelings of our couples. We try to equally balance knowing when to stay back and capture the moments that are taking place, and when to step in and take your photos to the next level!
Do you do destination weddings/will you travel to capture our day?
Yes! Please, and Thank You! While we may be based in the Greater Philadelphia Region, we would love to serve clients all around the world! We have special rates/collections specifically for Destination Weddings since they are such a unique event – so, don’t hesitate to reach out! We’d love to pack our bags and capture you both wherever your love may take you!
I'm working on a budget; will you give me a discount?
Our Wedding Experience has been carefully thought out and priced according to its value. However, no two weddings are alike, so, we would love to create a custom collection that includes exactly what you’re looking for! If you are working with a smaller budget, we have some amazing Associate photographers beginning at $1500. If you’d like to receive more information about them, please contact us for details!
You are the photographers for us!! What are our next steps to officially booking you for our date?
YAY! We are super excited! Just fill out the Contact Us form, provide us with all of your information and we will check our availability! Once you decide on your perfect Wedding Collection, we will send you over a contract and instructions on how to pay your retainer. We cannot hold any date until both the contract and retainer are completed.
What will you wear to our wedding?
We always dress our best! And we dress with our brand in mind – Navy & Pink! You’ll most likely see Ryan in a Navy Suit, while Tami will be wearing a Navy dress or pants with a Pink Blazer! You definitely won’t see us in the typical dreary all black get-up! We ultimately hope to blend in with your guests!
How long will it take for us to see our photos?
We’ll hopefully get you a few sneak peek on social media within a couple days while you’re enjoying your honeymoon! Your full gallery will be ready for viewing within 4-6 weeks!
We are super awkward and don't photograph well - can you help us?
Can we just say… everyone says that! Haha! We totally understand that you might not have a lot of experience being photographed, but we’re here to make it a fun, painless process! We will capture your quirks, your sweet glances, and the laughter between the both of you… Its not about the poses, its about those moments in between that we hope to capture!
Do you do video too?
We do not. However, we know some amazing videographers that we’d love to refer you to! We work well, side by side with a common goal of capturing every moment seamlessly for you both!
Will we receive all of the high resolution, edited images?
Yep! Along with being able to download your images from your online gallery, you’ll also receive a keepsake USB with all of your high resolution edited images on it!
What about an engagement session? Is it included? Should we get one? When should we do it?
We include an engagement session COMPLIMENTARY in our Wedding Experience! The reason that we do this is because we WANT to get to know you both! Plus, we want you to get to know US so that when we show up on your wedding day, you’re more comfortable with us! We’re like old friends sharing this special day with you – there’s more trust, confidence and you can truly be yourselves!
How many images will we receive?
On average, we say about 75-100 per hour. So, if you have us capture 8 hours of your day, you’re looking at about 600-800 images, but normally more! J
Do you offer albums? How long does it take to receive it?
Yes, of course! Your wedding album is your very first family heirloom. We feel that this book should perfectly represent all of the fun, love and excitement that you experienced throughout your wedding day. As you turn the pages of your album, we want you to be taken back to each moment and remember how you felt in those instances. After your album is approved, it will take about 20-25 business days to receive!
Are there travel fees associated with our engagement or wedding day?
Within our Wedding Experience, we include up to 50 miles travel for your engagement session and up to 75 miles travel for your wedding day. If you’d like us to travel to a location further than these distances, lets do it! We’re always up for it, however there will be an additional travel charge associated with further distances.
What kind of payments do you accept?
While we prefer payment by Check or Cash, we also accept credit card payments.
Can we share our photos on online and social media?
Yes, totally!! We love it!! As stated in our contract, you can use the images for Personal Use only. So, if you want to share them on social media, go for it!! … just as long as you give us photo credit and shout from the rooftops that we captured your special day!! Do you have insurance?
Yes, of course! More and more venues are requiring all vendors to carry specific limits so if your venue is asking for a copy, just let us know and we’ll be happy to send it over to them!
Do we own the copyright to our photos?
No. The full copyright is owned by Tami & Ryan Photography. However, on the USB that you will receive, there will be a Personal Print Release included. You will be able to print and use your images for personal use only. (It just means you cannot sell or distribute your images to third parties/vendors)

Why is a second photographer important?
Being a husband and wife team, we have a built-in Primary and Second Shooter for all of the weddings that we capture! Some of the reasons why a second shooter is important are:
1.The obvious reason is we can be in two places at once! Is the couple getting ready at two separate locations and want coverage for both? No problem! Are we in the middle of sunset portraits out on the dock, but your great-grandparents are slowly dancing together while inside? The second shooter can run inside and capture that moment, while the first shooter is able to finish capturing the both of you before the sun drops below the horizon!
2.Two totally difference perspectives! Throughout the wedding day a second shooter can capture emotions, reactions, actions from a completely different perspective, which will compliment the first shooters images and be a perfect addition to your wedding day love story.
3.So many more candid photos! While the primary photographer is focusing on the bride and groom and their special moments throughout the day, the second photographer will focus on those amazing candid’s happening all around! Especially during the reception, both photographers can be on opposite ends of the dance floor to make sure nothing is missed!
- With a second photographer there is a reduced chance of missing the perfect moment. An example would be capturing that crazy dancer doing back flips across the dance floor or a family member jumping in the center aisle to capture “their” perfect shot during the first kiss
