Sarah and Joe had the most amazing destination wedding weekend!  To read more about the first few days, including their wedding day, click HERE!  It was 5:30am the next  morning, and we were getting up, hoping and praying for a beautiful sunrise!  It rained the night before, but we absolutely lucked out with the most beautiful sunrise! We absolutely loved capturing Sarah & Joe’s sunrise trash the dress in Jamaica at the Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall!

The Story of Sarah & Joe

Since our last post was mostly about their wedding day, I figured I’d make this post more about the couple!

Joe and Sarah met when they were around 18.  They both worked at Friendly’s together, and were immediately inseparable.  Sarah and Joe have both always been family oriented, so it didnt take long for their families to get to know each other, and spend every holiday and special occasion together. It was perfect.

After about 3 years together, they found out they were having a baby boy! And once Joey was born, they weren’t really focused on the whole marriage thing, and weren’t really in a rush.  Their main focus was their beautiful baby boy! (Which made it easier for Joe to surprise her!)

It was November 2nd, 2016 – Sarah’s birthday.  They made plans to go to Riverwinds Restaurant with their best friends.  However, when they arrived, ALL of their family and friends were waiting there screaming SURPRISE!  Joe did a great job planning, especially because the entire night, Sarah was under the impression that it was just a surprise birthday party!

At the end of the evening, they brought out a cake, and everyone sang Happy Birthday!  Sarah was a little confused as to why everyone was still videotaping after they were done singing.  Joe then got down on one knee and proposed! Of course she said YES!

They started all of their wedding planning, and since they are untraditional, they planned for a destination wedding!  However, some of their family and friends would not be able to make it to their wedding.  SO, Sarah and Joe decided to have a legal ceremony here in the United States at Villari’s Lakeside, first for the family that couldn’t make it to Jamaica.  They officially became the Juliano’s on November 5th, 2017.  And exactly 6 months later, they had their dream Jamaican destination wedding! They now have an anniversary every 6 months!

A Sunrise Trash the Dress in Jamaica

On to the photos! Sarah and Joe got down to the water just in time to catch the perfect sunrise! From there, we played on the rocks and in the water, and then ended our morning jumping into the pool for some underwater romantic fun!
