A year after moving to Indianapolis, Amanda and Matthew were set to buy a house together on May 30th, 2013… According to Amanda… “A week before we closed on our house, I got home late from work, sat down on the couch and Matt threw a small box at me saying, “Here, I got this for you.” I paused because it was a box for jewelry and I thought, “This would be a terrible way for him to propose. He would never do that, just open the box.” I did and found a pair of diamond earrings. Matt said that he got them for me to celebrate getting the house and because he thought I would like to wear them to his sister’s wedding that weekend. Afterwards, we went to dinner at a restaurant with a view of the scenic Indianapolis canal. After dinner, while we were walking along the canal to get back to our apartment, Matt stopped me and said, “I didn’t get you those earrings to wear to the wedding. I got them for you because I thought they’d match this…” Then he pulled the ring from his pocket, got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! I said yes!”

Amanda and Matt chose to have their destination wedding at the beautiful Southern Mansion in Cape May, NJ!  We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful setting for them to say their I do’s and officially become husband and wife!!  Enjoy the sneak peek into their day!! xo

I loved that they chose to do a First Look!! They are so sweet together! I just love how much Matt adores her! Walking down the stairs to the ceremony… The beautiful parlor where everyone had dinner… Then everyone partied downstairs in the ballroom!! I was so excited when I found out that Amanda and Matt would be leaving on a horse and carriage…

Such a perfect ending to the beginning of their happily ever after!!!
