Wouldn’t It Be Easier to Hire the Resort Photographer? 

Not necessarily! Typically, hiring photographers from your wedding location is not only a bit riskier, but you don’t have the chance to get to know them before your day arrives. Past couples have decided to hire us over the hotel photographers because it is not only difficult to coordinate with them about the details, but if any issues were to arise, you couldn’t just simply go directly to them for assistance, as you can with us.  Our biggest reasoning, is that this is such a special day – what if the hotel just gives a random employee the camera that day, one that has never documented a wedding before and they miss some/all of the important moments?  You want someone that is there specifically for YOU to make sure that each and every memory is captured for you to treasure forever!

What are your Fees/Costs?

We love to make everything as easy as possible for our couples so that you can just sit back and enjoy your dream wedding planning!  We offer fixed rate destination photography based on day of the week, availability and location, plus our travel – flights, hotel rooms, transportation, etc.  Every wedding will be a different cost, because every wedding is unique!!  It would be best to let us know if you have special hotel rates so that we can make sure to work that into the pricing as well!

How Does the Travel Work?

We always travel to your destination a minimum of 2 days in advance. (Additional days depending on flight times/location) There are many reasons for this.  First, it will give us plenty of time to get to your wedding if there are flight cancellations or other issues.  Secondly, it gives us an ample amount of time to scout some epic photos locations!  Third, this is a great time to be able to capture any pre-wedding festivities that may be going on! There are a lot of moving parts in orchestrating a destination wedding and we’re sure you’d like to have all of the important moments captured forever!

What is Full Day Coverage? 

Our wedding day planning hack for you! We will set up time to go over all of the important moments of your day, and the schedule for everything.  We will use our expertise to help plan the perfect photography timeline, so that we will not miss any of the major moments of your day!  Most couples need between 8-10 hours of coverage, which equates to about 1.5hrs before first look/ceremony to around cake cutting/romantic nighttime portraits!

Why a Complimentary Engagement Session?

One way we ensure that our couples enjoy the best photographic experience possible is through forming a relationship with them!! A couple should connect with their photographer, trust their photographer and be excited about the whole process with them! After booking, we love getting to know our couples through an engagement session! This helps them warm up to the camera so that they are ready to rock and roll on the wedding day! By the time the wedding day arrives, our clients feel more like friends and that creates a trusting and relaxed environment for photography!

Once you’ve officially chosen us as your wedding photographers, you will start receiving T&R Tips emails throughout the time leading up to your day!  These emails will contain little snippets of information such as: “Is a First Look Right for Us?” (No worries if not, its totally your decision!), to “How to Create the Perfect Family Formals List” to “Engagement Session Style Tips”.  We’ve been in your shoes once before (as well as have captured over 250 weddings) so, we’ve learned a thing or two to help your wedding day be executed effortlessly!

Post-Wedding!

You did it!  You’re married!  Focus on the quality time that you will have together during your honeymoon!  During that time, we’ll be working our butts off to get you a few sneak peeks along the way!  You’ll then receive your full gallery of wedding images about 4-6 weeks after you’ve said I Do! Once your gallery is delivered, you’ll be able to order prints and we can discuss designing your Luxury Wedding Album – your very first Family Heirloom!

How do we make it Official/Payment Schedule!

We make that simple too!  Once we have answered any questions you may have, and you have decided to invest in us to capture this most memorable day, the next step is to official book us! Everything is done electronically! We’ll send you the contract, you sign it and send us your retainer – Boom! Official!

Payments are broken down into three payments to help spread out the costs!

• 33% Non-Refundable Retainer Due at Contract Signing
• 33% Due 6 Months Prior to Wedding
• Remaining 34% Due 1 Month Prior to Wedding OR When Final Payments are Due by the Resort (Whichever is First)
