We walked up to the exact spot where Courtney and Adam said their I Do’s the day before… and in that moment I knew we had to capture the below photo… in between the two palm trees where they officially became husband and wife! Thank you for putting so much trust in us and for not hating us for getting you both up so early in the morning! The beautiful colors coming from the sunrise were absolutely incredible! And girlfriend, with only a few hours of sleep, you look as stunning and mermaid-like as ever! …and then this happened! haha! Nothing quite like a little ocean lovin’ Courtney + Adam, there truly are no words to thank you enough for bringing us along on this fabulous journey! We’re so grateful to have witnessed and captured such memorable moments for you to treasure for a lifetime! We love you both! <3
Courtney + Adam chose to have their destination wedding celebration at the beautiful Hard Rock Hotel + Casino in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. From the beautiful resort, to the wonderfully attentive staff, to the weather, everything was purely perfect and fabulously romantic!
The beautiful terrace where their wedding reception would be held in just 3 days… The cutest Welcome Bag was delivered to our room! It was so wonderful getting to meet, get to know, and hang out with so many of their friends and family at the pool! The most amazing bridal party all dressed up for the rehearsal! <3 The details at their rehearsal/welcome dinner were so simply beautiful! The Sax Pool was the perfect spot to start celebrating! The future Mr + Mrs! Those heels! Ekkkkk! It is now the morning of Saturday, April 25th … the day that Courtney + Adam are getting MARRIED!!!!! All of the ladies ready to head to the salon!! We stayed behind for a little while to capture all of Courtney’s beautiful details! Courtney’s dress was SO beautiful and SO perfect for their beach wedding! The perfect little orchid to make Courtney’s hair just that much more perfect! Courtney’s best friend Gina was so attentive and such a wonderful Maid of Honor!
She herself will make a gorgeous bride when she ties the knot next year!! Adam wrote Courtney a message in a bottle for her to read before she saw him for the first time that day… As I was with Courtney and the ladies, Ryan was in the next building over hanging with Adam and his guys… On her way to see her man… Butterflies growing! He was so excited to see her! Love these two!! They had the most perfect day you could ever ask for! Seriously girl?! Gorgeous! The most perfect yellow building for her yellow wedding! The beautiful location where Adam and Courtney became husband and wife… White sandy beaches, blue water, palm trees… Doesn’t get much better than this! I may or may not have teared up as well… ;) Congratulations Mr + Mrs Kucinski!! Their reception was held on the Eclipse Terrace – the focal point of the entire resort! Captured the sunset riiiiight before it dipped behind the hotel! <3 Wide shot of their reception from across the bridge! The night was SO.MUCH.FUN! Only in the Caribbean do they bring out a tray of shots during the song SHOTS! Love it!We could not have asked to be a part of such an amazing wedding! Thank you so much for including us and making us feel like one of your guests and friends! It was perfection! The rings! Gah! Yep… during their last song, I waited for it… and it happened! <3 Congratulations again Courtney + Adam!! Wishing you so much love and happiness forever and always!! <3 xo
Fast forward to last week, Brittany + Nate were in Punta Cana for her sister Courtney’s destination wedding – which of course would be the perfect time to do a trash the dress! Brittany had reached out a few months ago, since I was also traveling to capture her sisters wedding, to also capture their trash the dress! How could I say no to that?! So, she brought her dress out with her and we had an amazing time wandering around the Hard Rock property and then ending our time on the beach and in the ocean! Enjoy the sneak peek! <3 xo We may have had a little fun in the sprinklers on our way to the beach! These two are so adorable together! Mmmmmm the glow of a perfect sunset! Brittany + Nate, we had so much fun with you both! Thank you so much for asking us to capture such an awesome session for you!! xo
We’ve been so excited to get to spend our weekend with Erin + Mike! Not only did we get the opportunity to capture their wedding on Sautrday, but we get the privilege of spending Sunday morning with them as well, capturing their love all over the town of Jim Thorpe during their Day After photos (which will grace the blog tomorrow!). Erin and Mike both got ready at the adorable Inn at Jim Thorpe, and then Erin took a horse and carriage ride up the hill to their venue! How much more of a fairy tale can you get?! Erin’s close childhood friend officiated their ceremony, and then they danced the night away at the Mauch Chunk Ballroom! Couldn’t have asked for a more perfect weekend for these two, and all their family and friends who travelled to be a part of their day!! Enjoy! xo Erin’s GORGEOUS dress! Oh, Mike’s reaction…. Yay Mr + Mrs O’Brien!!! Wanding the streets of Jim Thorpe after the ceremony was so much fun! Work it!! <3 Erin + Mike’s first dance was choreographed, and so beautiful! One of the highlights of our trip was seeing these four again!!! I’d love it if Amanda + Darryl and Meg + Jon were at all our weddings!
Mr + Mrs O’Brien, we wish you a lifetime of happiness!! We hope that you are having an AMAZING two weeks in Ireland!! xo
We started planning our summer vacation together a while back, and throughout the planning process he mentioned he may want to propose to his girlfriend Emily. So, we decided to plan our vacation during their one year anniversary! I got rather excited, so as soon as he mentioned it, I knew I wanted to photograph it and have Ryan video it! So, the months leading up to it, we went ring “shopping”, I helped him to create a beautiful book of memories of their first year together, (basically to use as a decoy – that this was her gift) and on the very last page of the book, he asked her to Marry Him!! (Shout out to Madera Books for such a beautiful memory book!! LOVE it!!)
The days leading up to our vacation were so exciting – getting everything ready, planning when and where Gary would ask her… etc! It was so hard to keep the secret, but of course I did, because I couldnt wait to see her reaction!! On the day we arrived, we mapped out where it would take place, right at sunset… Swoon! So, when the time came, it was perfect… there were a bunch of people on the beach watching baby turtles being hatched, so after we found a quiet area on the beach, Ryan and I said we were going to take photos of the turtles… Little did Emily know that we were actually just getting far enough away from them for Gary to do his thing! I am soo excited that Emily said YES! and even more excited that she is going to be my new sister!
I am so incredibly happy for the two of them! Happy they found each other, that they truly complete one another and the love/friendship between them is just perfect! From buying their first home together next month, to getting married in Spring of 2015, I am so proud of my little brother and could not be more excited to have gotten to be such a big part of the beginning of their happily ever after!! Gary + Em, we love you both, and hope you love all the memories we were able to capture for you!! xo
First photo after arriving in Cancun! The view from our hotel rooms!
That night, at sunset, is when it all went down! Here is Emily looking through the album!
As she turned to the last page, Gary kissed her, and got down on one knee…
Love love love!!! She said YES!!!
Look at that smile!
This is the part where we got yelled at!! Haha! We were “tricksters” according to Em for being so sneaky!! :) Totally worth it!!
The ring is so perfect! My brother did a great job!!
The book!!A toast to the newly engaged couple!!
And the next night, we were able to capture their engagement photo session at the resort!! :)
Seriously, I love these two together! I’ve never seen my brother so happy before! And that is not an exaggeration!
Oh Em, you are going to make an absolutely beautiful bride!!
Of course we had them get into the fountain! :)
And then down to the beach where all the magic happened the night before…
Yes, I even bought a cute sign! LOVE!!
Sunset the morning we left beautiful Mexico…
One last photo before we boarded the plane to come home… You love their shirts, RIGHT?! C’mon, I couldnt help myself!! :)
SO, NOW IS THE ULTIMATE “I WISH I HAD THIS’ MOMENT!!
Below, is the video of Gary + Emily’s journey to/during Mexico and their beautiful proposal!!! Enjoy!! xo
