Alexis was pretty convinced that John wouldn’t be able to surprise her with a proposal… Well, on March 2nd, 2014, it was like any normal day, Alexis had to go to work… and in her words: “When I got out of work, I decided to go for a run in the city (I am training for the Broadstreet).. long story short, I fell, skinned my knees, it started to rain, I was miserable… I drove home, only wanting to shower and go to bed. When I got to the house, the entire house was quiet… which is not typical.. I was walking through the house wondering where the heck both John and our alaskan malamute was… when I walked into the bedroom, I found John on his knee holding the ring with our dog sitting beside him.. It was then that he said, “Mal (our dog) and I want to ask you a question”. To be honest shock took over and I did not hear anything else he said other then let me see if it fits.. and that is when the tears started.” Seriously?! So darn cute!! Cant wait to capture their wedding next year on one of my favorite days of the year… Valentine’s Day!! <3
Meet Malaki – the cutest Alaskan Malamute ever! Loved him!
And a huge thanks to John’s future sister-in-law (and one of our brides!) Haley for coming and helping with Mal! :)These two are so darn cute together! Love love love! After an outfit change, we figured we’d wander down by Boathouse Row… and of course have Mal in some more photos! Just love how Alexis’ dress “pops” from the color! Since John is a football coach, we had to find somewhere to incorporate a football! Such a beautiful ring!!!
These two lovebirds met with a little help from her cousin – and the rest is history! These two are total dog lovers (my kind of people!) so Shamus knew the way to Concetta’s heart… Their dogs! Shamus had dog tags made with their names on one side and “Will You Marry Me?” on the other! How stinkin’ cute?! There’s no way Concetta could have said no to that!! Since these two love to run, and have run along Boathouse Row before, they thought that would be the perfect area for their engagement session! I hope you enjoy the photos!! xo Their smiles and the way they look at each other is just so sweet!! <3 Swoon! Its very rare that this running trail is so empty, so of course we took advantage of it! Beautiful!
Rob proposed to Emily on their 5 year anniversary – January 1st, 2012! He proposed at midnight on the top of the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art! Of course Emily said Yes! And here we are about a year and a half later, capturing their engagement photos in the very same place!! We absolutely adore these two and cant wait to capture their wedding next May!! Enjoy the sneak peek! xo
This is the exact spot where it all happened… eekk!!
First you must hear their engagement story, because swoon! Its so cute! Nicole and Eric were running a 5K race this past Thanksgiving morning with Eric’s family. Eric is faster than Nicole, so he finished first. As Nicole was coming up to the finish line, Eric was standing in the middle cheering her on and his dad and sisters boyfriend were holding the Finish Line sign. When Nicole got close enough, they flipped the sign over and it said “Nicole, will you marry me?” and Eric was down on his knee proposing!! Of course Nicole said YES!
These two together are so much fun with so much love and laughter between them! We had a great time capturing them behind the art museum, at city hall, love park and market street! Enjoy the sneak peek!
There were two random chairs, so we used them!! :)
<3
Too cute!
Nicole + Eric, we had an awesome time getting to know you both more and can not wait for your wedding next year!! It is going to be so much fun! :)
Shiran and Jeremy currently live in different states, but with commuting to see each other, they make the relationship work perfectly! With him in Philadelphia and Shiran in New York City, they decided to have their wedding at a destination sorta between the two at One Atlantic in Atlantic City, NJ! We are so excited to shoot their wedding in only a few short weeks!
In the meantime, we shot their beautiful engagement session at the Philadelphia Art Museum, Boathouse Row and Love Park! We had a wonderful time getting to know the two of them, their personalities and the amazing love they have for one another!! Enjoy the sneak peek! xo
I love the way they look at each other!
Their laughter was absolutely contagious! We loved every second of it!
