Since Erin and Mike chose not to do a First Look, and therefore had minimum time for photos on their wedding day, they decided to add on a Day After session for us to be able to wander the streets of Jim Thorpe and capture a ton more photos for the two of them! We had so much fun waking up early, strolling the streets and just exploring nooks and crannies that we didn’t even know were there… Enjoy the sneak peek! Oh, the way they look at each other… Swoon! Climbing up on an old abandoned building? No problem! Photos at the Jail! LOVE! Oooo la la ;) A re-creation from their engagement shoot… This adorable little street reminded me of the streets in Europe… Absolutely loved staying at The Inn at Jim Thorpe… It was such a great experience and a beautiful hotel!
We’ve been so excited to get to spend our weekend with Erin + Mike! Not only did we get the opportunity to capture their wedding on Sautrday, but we get the privilege of spending Sunday morning with them as well, capturing their love all over the town of Jim Thorpe during their Day After photos (which will grace the blog tomorrow!). Erin and Mike both got ready at the adorable Inn at Jim Thorpe, and then Erin took a horse and carriage ride up the hill to their venue! How much more of a fairy tale can you get?! Erin’s close childhood friend officiated their ceremony, and then they danced the night away at the Mauch Chunk Ballroom! Couldn’t have asked for a more perfect weekend for these two, and all their family and friends who travelled to be a part of their day!! Enjoy! xo Erin’s GORGEOUS dress! Oh, Mike’s reaction…. Yay Mr + Mrs O’Brien!!! Wanding the streets of Jim Thorpe after the ceremony was so much fun! Work it!! <3 Erin + Mike’s first dance was choreographed, and so beautiful! One of the highlights of our trip was seeing these four again!!! I’d love it if Amanda + Darryl and Meg + Jon were at all our weddings!
Mr + Mrs O’Brien, we wish you a lifetime of happiness!! We hope that you are having an AMAZING two weeks in Ireland!! xo
Ray and Alison are both chefs – so needless to say, they’ve found the recipe for LOVE! :) They both met each other while working in Atlantic City and are now currently living in Texas! They have hopes of moving back home to open their own restaurant together! Lets hope so! It was always Alison’s dream to get married on a mountain, and she couldnt have found a more breathtaking spot than the gorgeous Stroudsmoor Country Inn in Stroudsburg, PA! I hope you enjoy the sneak peek of their wedding! xo
Her beautiful gown!
Yay! They got the dress on without having to put it over Alison’s head! Didnt want to mess up her beautiful hair!
LOVE the boys shoes! Orange and Black for the Philadelphia Flyers!
So excited that Alison and Ray chose to do a first look!! Its always my favorite part of the day!! And the sun was perfectly glowing in the background!
So sweet!
Gosh, Alison, you are beautiful!!
What a perfect spot for a ceremony!!
Loved all the little details and their bread escort cards!
When Alison got engaged the first thing she knew she wanted was a Pie Table instead of Cake! How lovely is this with the pies on the tree stumps?! LOVE!
Congratulations Alison + Ray! I hope you had an amazing time in Connecticut and hope you have an even more fabulous time in Europe next year!! We truly enjoyed capturing your special day!
