Fast forward to Ashley buying a house and starting to hang out with her friend Sean again… but it wasn’t long until her friend Sean became her boyfriend Sean! Since then, they’ve gone on probably 2 vacations together a year… And this past year they traveled down to New Orleans! They wake up one beautiful morning, and eat their breakfast on their balcony at the Maison DuPuy. After Sean excusing himself for what seemed like a very long time, her reemerged and asked “Ashley, you know how much i love you?” to which she replied that she loved him too… and right then, he gets down on one knee, pulls out a box and asks her to marry him! So cute!!!
Since Ashley and Sean live right outside of Sea Isle City and will be getting married there next year, it was only fitting to have their engagement session there as well! :) The laughter between these two was contagious! LOVE!! After playing on the beach, we headed to the docks, and hopped onto Seans cousin’s boat for some photos out in the water! To end an engagement session with our couple jumping into the water was absolutely priceless!!!
Lisa and Anthony told us that they were expecting back in December and GOSH how time has flown!! As of today, Lisa is officially on maternity leave and her little man is due in just a month! A MONTH! I could not be more thankful to have such an amazing friend in my life – she has been there through good times and bad, even through my crazy hectic work schedule and stood by my side during one of the happiest days of my life! :) I am beyond excited and thrilled to not only get to capture these moments in her life, but to also be a part of them!!
Since Lisa’s parents have a trailer right outside of Sea Isle (right near my parents!) we decided it would be perfect for them to have their session where they spend their time in the summer – Sea Isle City! I even called upon my absolute favorite hair/make-up artist Jessica from Your Day Your Way to pamper Lisa and accentuate her beauty for our shoot! :) She did a fabulous job!
